Coming from a theatrical family background and given the personal connection and constant interactions with the stalwarts of the South Indian film fraternity right from a very young age, it is only a natural transition for me to venture into the celluloid world.

My thirst for creative excellence led me to the field of acting, direction and screenplay. Having donned the grease-paint for varied performance bases (theatre, short film, sitcoms), I have a strong foundation and basis for understanding the multi facet of the film industry. I have been able to bond and forge a number of partnerships with many talented actors and performers.

My artistic involvement in a project is thorough and I enjoy helping the performers to bring to true life what I have created in my writing. I have been fortunate to direct people with varied skill sets right from amateurs to seasoned contemporaries in a variety of art forms ranging from freelance shows, dancing, musicals, stage plays extending to independent short films.

I consider my greatest assets as being in touch with realism and my keen sense of observation of current affairs. I always visualize myself as the audience and interpret the pulse and popular notions, before allowing my creative inner soul to take over. This provides the perfect balance between fantasy and realism and is portrayed in all my work.

I believe that hard work, sincerity, attention to detail and creative expressionism, will be the natural transition to excel in one’s passion.
